The simulator package includes an example of control software for the control of a tank of liquids (tank_new.exe). This program has been written in C (Borland C++ Builder) for the acquisition data card AD-Link PCI-9112.
When executed, the simulator is activated and the signals are available for its manipulation a view. Figure 8, “Tank of liquids demo program.” shows the aspect of the program.
This program supposes the same collection of sensor and actuators explained in the process model of the liquids tank of the simulator.
To modify the value of the analog and digital input sensors is possible from the simulator interface, in function of these values the control program will activate the pump or the output valve. It is also possible to activate de tank model of the simulator and let the controlling program to manage this tank (see Figure 9, “Simulator with tank model activated.”).
